Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Hadu. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.

You must provide accurate information when registering. Using someone else's identity is not permitted.

You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and do not share them.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings > Privacy & Data.

Create and join events, groups, and spontaneous plans.

Connect with other users and send direct messages.

Upload a profile photo and share content within the app.

Host events and manage join requests as a host.

Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users.

Post hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that degrades people based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic.

Share sexually explicit content or content involving minors in any capacity.

Create fake accounts, impersonate other people, or misrepresent your identity.

Use Hadu to send unsolicited commercial messages or spam.

Post false event information or use events to mislead, scam, or harm attendees.

Attempt to access other users' accounts, data, or private information without permission.

Use the platform in any way that violates applicable law.

As an event host, you are responsible for the accuracy of your event information — time, location, and what attendees should expect.

Hadu is a platform that facilitates connections between users. We are not responsible for events organised through the platform, or for interactions between users at those events.

Always exercise your own judgement when attending events you find through Hadu, especially with people you have not met before.

You retain ownership of content you create and post on Hadu (profile, messages, event descriptions, etc.).

By posting content, you grant Hadu a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the app for the purpose of operating the service.

We may remove content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines, without notice.

We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, post illegal content, harm other users, or damage the Hadu community.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of a suspension, unless doing so would harm other users or is prohibited by law.

You may appeal a suspension by contacting support@haduapp.com.

The Hadu name, logo, and product design are the intellectual property of Hadu. You may not use them without our written permission.

The app software is proprietary. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute it.

Hadu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, always available, or that any specific feature will remain available.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hadu is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from interactions with other users.

Hadu is not liable for events organised through the platform, attendee behaviour, or outcomes of in-person meetups.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of Hadu after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts, unless required otherwise by local consumer protection law in your country.
